Every year during September the Town of Lovettsville goes back to its roots as a German Settlement. In 1722 Lovettsville's first settlers were German immigrants. In 1836 the Virginia General Assembly established Lovettsville as a town, then in 1876, the Town of Lovettsville was incorporated.
For the last three decades, the Town of Lovettsville has hosted an annual Oktoberfest all over town, and the Lovettsville Game Club has played an important part in the event. We provide one of the largest parking locations for the event, sell authentic German food and beers, as well as German nick-nacks.
